- Procedure for obtaining information from PIO-

1. As per provisions in the Right to Information Act, Person seeking information on any
particular subject may do so by applying in Form-A along with payment of prescribed fee.
2. Applicants will be given an Acknowledgement of the receipt of their application with an
ID No. and the date for contact on which such information will be provided in Form-B.
3. However, if the information so ought is outside the jurisdiction of the PIO and is under the
purview of another PIO, same will be informed to the Applicant in Form-C with a copy to
the concerned PIO.
4. If the Information sought by the applicant cannot be provided to the applicant, the same
will be informed to him in Form-D giving reasons for rejection.
5. The information asked for by the applicant will normally be provided in Form-E.
